Where We Are Right Now
HellVault is in the build and pre production phase. We are preparing sets, wiring lights, gathering materials, and shaping a one of a kind haunted attraction and indie horror film project inside a real industrial facility. If you have been waiting for a chance to get in on the ground floor of something creative in Colorado, this is it. We are growing our team now, and we are opening the door to people who want real hands on experience and real credit for their work.
Who Thrives Here
HellVault rewards people who are reliable, curious, and comfortable solving problems with practical tools. This is a place where salvaged parts become equipment, where a blank room turns into a scene, and where a quick sketch can become a build plan by the end of the day. You do not have to be an expert in haunted attractions to start. If you bring effort, care, and respect for safety, we can teach the rest.
Actors and Performers
Casting for the HellVault film is coming up, and we also build toward live performance in the attraction itself. We are looking for character actors, physical performers, voice talent, and people who can work in immersive scenes. Some roles are scripted for camera. Some roles are interactive for guests. Night work, tight spaces, and coordinated timing are all part of the job. If you love horror, suspense, and dark comedy, and you like the idea of performing inside a real industrial maze, we want to hear from you.
Builders, Fabricators, and Scenic Artists
Our facility is large and made of concrete, steel, and thick industrial finishes. We need carpenters, set dressers, prop builders, painters, aging and distress artists, and people who can read a tape, use a saw, and follow a plan. Experience with pneumatics, foam carving, coatings, adhesives, or basic welding is a bonus. Beginners who take direction well are welcome. Much of our work uses reclaimed materials, so creativity and safe tool use matter as much as a portfolio.
Film and Production Crew
HellVault is both a film and a live experience, which means we are building a crew that can work on camera days and behind the scenes during construction. We are seeking camera operators, assistant camera, gaffers, electrics, grips, data managers, location sound, post editors, colorists, and motion graphics artists. If you have worked on small crews and know how to move fast without cutting corners, your skills will fit here.
Practical Effects, Costuming, and Makeup
We lean into practical effects. If you build creature rigs, puppets, mask sculpts, blood rigs, fog or air effects, or specialty props, there is room for you. We also need costumers and stitchers who can build durable character looks that survive long nights. Makeup artists with beauty, character, and special effects skills are needed for tests and for camera days. Organization and kit readiness are just as important as artistry.
Operations, Safety, and Logistics
A project this size needs rock solid operations. We are looking for stage managers, coordinators, shop leads, runners, drivers, and people who can keep tools, consumables, and schedules under control. Safety is non negotiable. If you have experience with OSHA basics, lockout tagout, fire watch, or first aid, please note that in your submission. Ed’s inspector mindset sets the tone here. Compliance allows creativity to flourish.
Post Production and Design
We are standing up edit bays and a small post pipeline on site. If you cut, grade, design titles, or build soundscapes, let us know. We are also building out graphic design for in world signage, wayfinding, and marketing materials. If you are a designer who loves retro tech aesthetics, scientific diagrams, warning labels, and analog control panels, this is your playground.
Advocates and Local Supporters
Not everyone can work on site, and that is fine. If you want to help, you can still be part of the build by sharing updates, connecting us with resources, and introducing us to potential partners. Advocates help us find materials for the prop shop, recruit talent, and widen the circle. If you run a local business and want to collaborate, we would like to talk.
Influencers and Social Media Collaborators
Creators who want to document the process are welcome. Early access days for filming, interviews with the team, and behind the scenes walk throughs will be scheduled. We will outline expectations, logistics, and release timing so everyone is protected. Our next post covers creator access in depth and explains Street Team participation for those who want to help amplify the project.
What to Expect After You Apply
We keep things simple. Tell us who you are, what you want to do, and when you are available. Share links to any relevant work. We will review and route your information to the right lead. Some roles require in person interviews or tests. Some roles are trial shifts on a shop day so you can see how we work.
Timeline and Commitment
We moved into the facility in May 2025 and have been building since. The current focus is the film, the shop build out, and preparation for the full haunt in 2026. Hours vary by department. Some teams work standard day shifts. Others meet for targeted evening builds. Camera days are scheduled in blocks so crew and performers can commit in advance.
How to Apply Right Now
Our website will have dedicated forms for each department. Until those are live, use the main contact page and include your name, role of interest, the best way to reach you, and a link to any work samples. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must be involved in communications. If you are a business or union member, note that as well so we can coordinate properly.
Equal Opportunity and Safety
HellVault values skill, effort, and mindset. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and identities. We follow safety and harassment free workplace standards. If you have accessibility needs, tell us so we can plan your workspace and schedule with care.
